A Visionary Workplace at the Heart of Bristol
EQ Aspire is a landmark new development redefining the office environment for the modern era. Designed by Aukett Swanke, the 200,000 sq ft building is located in the heart of Bristol’s city centre and stood as the largest speculative office development in the South of England at the time of its construction. Developed for CEG, EQ Aspire combines innovative sustainability credentials, user-centric design, and an exceptional suite of amenities—earning accolades such as the BCO Regional Award for Best Commercial Workplace and Insider’s Sustainable Project of the Year.
Designing for Flexibility and Future-Proofing
EQ has been conceived with adaptability at its core. Sub-divisible floorplates and the ability to run separate environmental systems on each level ensure the building can meet a diverse range of tenant needs, now and in the future. Lusso supported this vision by supplying a range of high-performance partitioning systems: Lusso 105 double frameless glazed partitions were used to define enclosed zones with clarity and acoustic control; Lusso 25 Geo introduced a refined, geometric aesthetic to open-plan divisions; and Lusso 55, our narrow double-glazed system, delivered a clean, modern look with enhanced sound insulation.
State-of-the-Art Amenities that Prioritise Wellbeing
EQ offers a wide range of thoughtfully designed amenities that actively support wellbeing, collaboration and productivity. Facilities include a modern ground-floor café and business lounge, a rooftop bar with large south-facing terrace, a 50-seat auditorium, fitness suite, and co-working areas. Lusso’s glazed systems help define and enhance these spaces—balancing openness and structure, while allowing natural light to flow throughout.

EQ Aspire sets a new benchmark for environmentally responsible office design. With a BREEAM ‘Outstanding’ rating, EPC A, WELL ready status, and a Platinum Wired Score, the building integrates cutting-edge sustainability with people-centred design. Lusso systems were selected not only for their refined aesthetics and durability but also for their contribution to energy-efficient, sustainable interior environments.
