This new Porsche Centre is a sophisticated addition to the brand’s UK retail network, designed to reflect Porsche’s dedication to performance, precision and premium customer experience. Located in Guildford and delivered by BDB Design Build with architectural design by AXIS 3 Design, the space showcases an elevated showroom experience tailored to modern automotive retail.
Light, Space & Seamless Visibility
The internal layout was designed to feel open and spacious, allowing customers to interact with the vehicles and showroom environment with ease. Lusso installed glazed partitions to define offices, meeting spaces and private zones while retaining uninterrupted sightlines across the showroom—supporting a sense of openness and transparency throughout.
Design Details That Define Quality
To meet Porsche’s luxury aesthetic, several bespoke finishes were incorporated. Hydraulic patch pivots were used for the glass doors in place of visible floor springs, while unsuited locking ladder handles were specified in satin stainless steel and black. These thoughtful touches elevate the overall design while ensuring practicality in daily use.
Brand Consistency with a Bold Edge
Black-tinted glazing was used for specific glazed partitions in handover bays and the lounge, ensuring privacy for clients during vehicle handovers and in relaxation areas. This functional yet sophisticated feature provides a sense of exclusivity and comfort while maintaining the visual language seen across other Porsche Centres. The tinting enhances the space’s premium feel and discreetly integrates into the overall design, reflecting Porsche’s commitment to both form and function.
